چکیده
During the past decade, an increase in number of studies about dental erosion has been observed. The aim present study was to describe current trends published scientific articles related between 2011 and 2020. Data authors, year language publication were analyzed. A bibliometric analysis PubMed conducted using MeSH terms (dental erosion) (tooth Boolean operator OR/AND. sample n = 1090 during ten years (2011–2020) obtained. variables analyzed article, publishing, affiliations first last author relationship them. countries origin ranked according publications, led by Brazil, UK, USA. type we observed that 79.4% all publications research articles. In recent years, a significant on observed, especially Brazil with high translational humans cross-sectional observational studies. main findings this article will help researchers, academics students characterize results regarding erosion, evaluate management strategies identify important topics issues design future research.

متن کاملFluoride in dental erosion.
Dental erosion develops through chronic exposure to extrinsic/intrinsic acids with a low pH. Enamel erosion is characterized by a centripetal dissolution leaving a small demineralized zone behind. In contrast, erosive demineralization in dentin is more complex as the acid-induced mineral dissolution leads to the exposure of collagenous organic matrix, which hampers ion diffusion and, thus, redu...
